Counting Down the Bedrooms

Pine View

Pine View Room: Since this room is facing the pine trees, a very subtle sage color was selected called Healing Aloe by Benjamin Moore. Coupling it with a darker and warmer wood frame for the bed felt like a good choice to make it cozy and comfortable, perfect for any time of year.

BEFORE RENOVATION

Lake View

Lake View Room: Since this room is facing the Lake, a very subtle blue/grey color was selected called Bunny Grey by Benjamin Moore. Sabrina and I had a fun time going shopping to some of the furniture stores in Wausau and Appleton to buy the beds and nightstands. For anybody that wants to just relax on a rainy day, curl up and read a book... there's built in lights which makes it so nice for reading and taking naps!

BEFORE RENOVATION

Nature Hideaway

Nature Hideaway: We love the way this is transforming. This room is downstairs near the patio door that goes out to the lake. Just a few steps away and you have your fishing pole already cast! With a big picture window, wake up and see what the day brings with weather and enjoy your coffee on the patio.

We are so close to finishing this room by building a privacy wall with a door. Before, it was just open space from the bar/open gathering space. Now, it will become a 3rd bedroom and done by mid-February. Updated images coming soon!

Kids Bunk Room

We are anxiously awaiting the 2 double over double bunk beds. The Orion Bunk Beds were ordered on October 1st and not expected to arrive until mid-March. Is anyone else out there experiencing long lead times for furniture? Once we get these beds, the room will really come together nicely. It's a huge space for kids, separated by a curtain from the TV area for the kids to feel like they are in a private space but can also open it if they want to watch a movie in the TV room. More pictures to come next month!

Master Bedroom with Private Bathroom

Right off the kitchen is a door that leads into this room, which was originally the garage for the house decades ago. over the years, it was converted to a very large den. As you can see, it's quite outdated. But with the size of this space, we are going to get creative and make it a master bedroom with a King size bed and add a private bathroom.

Demolition starts in March and the ready date will be late May. Wish us luck!
